About Me and My Blog

Most likely you’re wondering if that really is my picture. Yes, it is. And it’s new! Woo!

As to your other questions (including my disclosures):

  • I am employed by CerebralFix, an independent game developer based in Christchurch, New Zealand, but with an office in Austin, Texas. In addition to this, I do some freelance writing and SEO work. My employers have nothing to do with anything in this blog. So unless I mention money, take them out of the equation. They don’t influence my opinions, only my income.
  • Let’s be clear. My opinions are my opinions. This blog doesn’t afford me any income, though if you would like to change that, I welcome it. Contact me and let’s get that paid content train rolling.
  • Yes, I do play a lot of video games, and, yes, my mother knows that. No, she doesn’t approve, but I don’t really care. I’m an adult. I waited many years to say that and to have that new-fangled self-determination thing I heard so much about. Plus, well, my slightly obsessive style of play got me a job.
  • Aside from that, all you need to know is that I like to write, I like to read and I like to game. Of course, if I don’t get new contacts and a new graphics card soon, I might not be able to do any of that. For the time being, though, you can follow me here or at www.twitter.com/cfgbrady.

I’m happy to discuss more or less anything. But use your good judgement: if you’re not comfortable asking your gamer grandmother the same question, let’s just not go there. Nope, for that stuff, head over to my other blog, Skullrot.
